Learning approach

6+ live sessions per month

Each session is built around one of three pillars: learning from experienced practitioners, peer development, and craft building. At least two sessions per month feature accomplished thought leaders from our network; designers, writers, and strategists who've built visibility while staying credible. The rest are peer-led workshops and feedback sessions where you develop your own work. Most sessions are recorded so you can engage on your own time.

Build meaningful connections at your own pace: through monthly 1:1 matches, ongoing peer circles, drop-in feedback sessions, and interest-based groups. Keep the momentum going with async connection in our community platform and quarterly in-person gatherings in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Four to six touchpoints per month. Some are structured sessions with clear outcomes. Others are open spaces to bring your work, get feedback, and think alongside peers. Nothing is mandatory; but everything is designed to move your work forward. Here's what a typical month holds.

Each month, TOG hosts four or more live sessions across craft, connection, and leadership: CRAFT WORKSHOPS (2x/month): Structured sessions on writing, speaking, positioning, and building your body of work. Led by our faculty and guest practitioners. You'll leave with tangible progress on your own work. LEADERSHIP CONVERSATIONS (1-2x/month): Candid conversations with practitioners who've built real visibility; designers, writers, strategists sharing unfiltered lessons and hard-won wisdom. PEER FEEDBACK & CONNECTION (2x/month): Drop-in sessions to get feedback on your work, plus structured peer circles for ongoing support. Sessions are selectively recorded to protect vulnerability. Craft content goes to our library; personal sharing stays in the room.
